The Advanced Recovery Room Care (ARRC) Delirium Flowchart was adapted from study documents, Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) policy and the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC) Standards. It gives clear, step-by-step guidance for recognising and managing delirium. Units can use it to educate staff and support consistent care.

ARRC, pioneered at the Royal Adelaide Hospital by Professor Guy Ludbrook, is a structured postoperative care model for intermediate-risk noncardiac surgical patients.
